Sarah Albee

Sarah Albee is the New York Times best-selling author of books about history, art, math, and science for kids in grades K through 8. Recent and forthcoming titles include Brontosaurus is Back!; Zero: The Number That Almost Wasn’t; Bounce! A Scientific History of Rubber; The Painter and the President: Gilbert Stuart’s Brush with George Washington; and Troublemakers in Trousers: Women and What The Wore to Get Things Done. Other nonfiction titles include Accidental Archaeologists: True Stories of Unexpected Discoveries, Dog Days of History; a series of six I Can Read Biographies (George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Martin Luther King, Jr, Jane Goodall, Helen Keller, and Albert Einstein); and Poop Happened: A History of the World from the Bottom Up. She lives in New York City with her husband, a high-school administrator. They have three grown children. She loves visiting schools and presenting to kids of all ages.
