Jenin Mohammed

Jenin Mohammed made her publishing debut when she won the 2020 SCBWI International Summer Portfolio Showcase grand prize. Since then, Jenin has illustrated multiple books, such as SONG IN THE CITY, WHEN I WRAP MY HAIR, and SUPER MOM. Her latest books are THE BAND IN OUR BASEMENT and THE DADDY-DAUGHTER DANCE. She uses both digital and traditional art mediums to create her colorful and textured illustrations. She also writes for middle grade audiences.
