Julie Fogliano

Julie Fogliano is a New York Times bestselling author for children. Her books include And Then It’s Spring (illustrated by Erin Stead), When’s My Birthday (illustrated by Christian Robinson), A House That Once Was (illustrated by Lane Smith), and My Best Friend (illustrated by Jillian Tamaki). Her work has received numerous awards including two Boston Globe Horn Book honors, The Ezra Jack Keats Award, The Claudia Lewis Award for Poetry, The Charlotte Zolotow Award and The New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Award. Julie lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and three children. She likes to spend her time talking about writing, wondering about writing, worrying about writing, and sometimes (if she’s lucky) actually writing.
